Pool Party!

Well the answer to the last question is yes, but let us tell you why.

When we first began this adventure in 2021, we invited the public to bring us unlimited amounts of their #5 plastics. This plastic could just be dropped off at our location with no cleaning or sorting. Unfortunately, this led to a collection of massive amounts of dirty plastics that we couldn’t immediately process and then ended up in large bags at our studio. We are still processing through those bags today!

Thanks to the hard work of volunteers and studio staff we were able to process through many of these bags throughout the years, but we still have 2 of them left to process. Pool parties are designed to make this process more fun! We are filling a reclaimed baby pool with all natural cleaning solution and water and diving in to finishing this project.

There will also be snacks and recycled plastic crafts! You can sign up for a time slot here or just stop on by anytime Monday, 3/23 from 5-9pm. Hope to see you then!
